Prom!

Happy to say that I was able to fit into a size L dress for prom instead of XL :) Now, I gotta keep working out for that new bikini I just bought!

Remember how I said I was gonna cut my friend’s hair this weekend?

Yeah, this is what happened.

It actually looks pretty cool from the front, but I can’t stop laughing at the mistakes I made. His mom liked it though so it’s all good!

Goals for this weekend:

1) Eat well (despite my stress)
2) Study my butt off and stay focused!
3) Find a prom dress that I am at least content with.
4) Plan for college classes and discuss with mom so I can be ready to sign up on Monday
5) Get some really good exercise in
6) Give my friend an awesome haircut! (or a super ridiculous one, we haven’t really decided yet)

yeahhhhh

I was kinda skeptical when I saw this at first, but it is totally true. I’ve looked at junk food and wondered why I was so addicted to it in the first place. The initial transition into eating healthy was hard, but after those first couple weeks everything has been much much easier for me.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that I don’t have the occasional craving for stuff. But my desire for junk food has really dropped. Pretty cool. :)

Mini update!

After being 174 pounds the last time I visited the doctors, which was late April, I stepped on he scale this morning and weighed 163.5! Holy cow! A healthy diet TOTALLY impacts your weight loss. I’m so happy! <3

Here’s to more progress by Prom, which is in a week…. adfja;sdkfj;sdlfk

Dad made some awesome chili today.

It was made with all turkey meat! (including turkey bacon, which I found really interesting.) Some of the other odd ingredients included avocado and beer, but the chili came out tasting really good anyhow. It was so good, in fact, that it won the chili competition at my dad’s work today :’)

It would have been relatively worry-free had I not put Monterey Jack cheese on top… oh well, it’s not that bad. That stuff is soooo good when it’ melted, I couldn’t resist having a little. Heehee <3

I was really good today otherwise, had a salad, baby carrots and an apple for lunch as I’ve been doing for a while now. With a tall bottle of water, of course ;)

I’m really looking forward to the end of exams so I can finally go on vacation and go to the gym regularly. Been super busy with school stuff lately and it’s gotten me stressed out.
